What supporters are saying:
Dear Editor,
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to the Lodi Enterprise and its readers supporting Keith Ripp for the 47th State Assembly seat being vacated by Eugene Hahn.
We need a person with Keith’s background and integrity to represent our district in Madison with the difficult times facing Wisconsin ahead. We have issues such as health care, balancing the budget, environmental concerns and promoting Wisconsin as a great place for industry to set-up shop and to do business. Keith has worked in all these fields. Being an independent businessman, he knows what it’s like to pay the cost of health care, and how it affects the budget of a business. Keith knows to stay competitive and thrive as a businessman you have to have a good understanding of how to balance a budget, live within your means and work with employees on a day-to-day basis to ensure the business thrives and your workers earn a very good living to support their families. Keith understands that whether you live in a township, village or city, the residents of our district must have access to good paying jobs to be successful and happy.
Coming from a farm background, Keith understands the very importance of protecting our natural resources. He thoroughly recognizes the balance that will have to be created between urban and rural residents to both protect the environment and continue to produce an abundant supply of food to feed the nation and world. It is important that we have person, like Keith, who understands the complexities in land-use planning that must be addressed in the next few years so that cities may continue to grow, and farmers still have adequate protection to operate their business to meet the growing demand for food and fiber. I believe that Keith has the ability to accomplish what this district needs at the Capitol; to work on legislation that will both allow our district to thrive economically and do it with a standard of living that our residents so much deserve.
My family will be voting for Keith Ripp on Sept. 9th and I encourage you to vote for him. Keith is the best man for the job.
