Well folks,
I can finally tell you all our hard work paid off. After a very thorough canvassing process and an even more intense ballot recount, 25 of the 28 votes stand giving us the victory in the 47th District at last. The famous quote, "Every vote counts" is a fact and for all of you who talked your friends, neighbors, and family into voting...Kudos to you! We couldn't have done it without each one of you! It has been 11 months of very hard work and it is a big relief to have this part over so we can get down to work for the people of the 47th District and the state of Wisconsin.
Since the election, I have met with many groups in the 47th district. I have been meeting with my fellow legislators, as well as, spending a few days in Washington, DC in training sessions. I recently hired my staffer, Tyler Wenzlaff, who is teaming up with me in my new office and setting up my new website and contact information. I believe the lines of communication should be open, so please feel free contact me at my new office.
On January 5th, there will be the Inauguration Ceremony at the Capital. Since there is limited space for attendance given to each representative, we will be holding a district wide Swearing-In Ceremony on January 6th at Lodi High School at 6:00 pm. There will be a flag presentation, guest speakers, and a circuit judge to administer the oath. All are welcome to attend the ceremony at the high school.
Thanks again for your support!
Warmest Regards,
Keith Ripp
My name is Keith Ripp and I am running to be your Representative for the 47th Seat of the Wisconsin State Assembly. As a person who has lived my whole life in this district, I share the same struggles with high costs of health care, increasing gas prices, growing grocery bills, high taxes, and worry about my kids' future. I would like to share my knowledge as a business owner and community leader, while applying common sense to better serve my district. My goal is not to be a life-time politician, but a representative of the people who put their trust in me to represent their values and concerns in the Capital.
It would be an honor to serve as your Representative of the 47th District of the State Assembly.
